It's clear as glass.
I can see it in your eyes.
My love for you burns bright,
like the sun on a summer day.
I trust you with my life,
and know that this is real.
You are my one and only love,
and I hope I do not fail you.
You give me strength and courage,
to make it through each day.
You are that one light in my life,
that leads me in the dark.
I would do anything to have you here with me,
now and always.
I hope I don't wait too late,
to tell you the words unspoken.
When I tell you everything I have left out,
I wish for your response to clear away the fog.
I have had this fear on my back,
since you know when.
When I see your face,
the fears go away.
The look you give me with those big green eyes,
makes me fall in love all over again.
I have tried so hard to put it behind me,
it will just take time.
I promise you I forgive you,
and trust you more than anything in this world.
You have brought happiness into my life,
and confidence to do anything.
I don't have to put on a disguise while I am with you,
for you love me for who I am.
You know everything about me,
and just how to help me in the rough times.
I have your tender loving heart,
and feel the warmth of your smile.
You have the one and only key to my heart,
Please do not let it free.
I have to forget the first time,
I have to give it another try.
This is different,
I have found true LOVE at last!
