Every Dog Will Have It's Day Poem by Moth Harris

Every Dog Will Have It's Day

Well they say
That every dog will have it's day
But it's truly a shame
What that dog became
Who he had to betray
It was never the same
He could never stay
He could only whimper away
Today, I don't want to be afraid
I've seen where the dog laid
Portrayed to wag it's tail
but between his legs he failed
Where he got derailed and went a stray
Well they say
That every dog will have it's day
But that day isn't today
So sit, boy, and stay
