With every new turn
A new face appears
For something new is around every corner
A new person to meet
For this one could be the one
The one to take you away
To make you feel like nothing in the world could hurt you
For every new turn
You could always find me
For I’ll wait just for you
So you say want to date me
But yet there’s no question
You say you want to get to know me
But yet there’s still nobody around
For just a corner away
To take that turn
It’s just so hard to let go
Of what you found on the way there
For this turn could change your whole life
Or just leave you in the dust
To be still walking
And hoping to find that right turn
Just into your arms
The ones I’ve dreamed about
For a hug from you would feel like haven
A kiss would just be a miracle
To this corner I’ll sit here and debate
On if I should take the step
To turn or just walk away
For with every new turn
There’s always going to be a new face
But only yours disappears
And fades away
For that’s why I’ll wait
Just for you to take a turn
But you still wont..
You’ll just sit there
And watch me walk by
Cause I’ll turn and find someone new
For this turn is about to change my life
To never be on hold
To always moving forward
I cant wait anymore to take that turn
To be waiting on you forever
But still I’m scared on what I’ll find
For I know that it wont be you
