Every Now And Then Poem by dino evans

Every Now And Then

Every now and then, I see your face but you're not there
I remember how the wind sometimes would gently blow you're hair
I'll catch a scent of you and I'll remember times we had
When love was new and life was long, and time was not as sad

I long for time to turn itself, and take me back to when,
We had our lives outstretched before us, be there once again, , ,
But every now and then, in mist of days gone by,
I'll think of you, and what we shared, bow my head and cry...

Do you still think of me I ask, and if you do, think well, ,
If I could see you now, would you be the one I'd tell,
That love is everlasting, and it hasn't stopped for me...
Every now and then, your shining eyes are all I see...

Every now and then the love I have for you is there,
I know the time has passed for you, the time you had to care...
But what we had is comforting and God lets me to see,
The happiness that I once had, to set my heartache free...

Every now and then, .........
