Every Passing Day Poem by Ray Hansell

Every Passing Day

Close your eyes
Take my hand
As I help you
To understand

I'll explain to you
So you will know
Just how much
I love you so

I'd give to you
A lovely day
A sky of blue
With no grey

The sun would shine
Always for you
Flowers would bloom
To show their colors so true

The night would show
The twinkling stars
To marvel at the beauty
They truly are

A harvest moon
On a winters night
As you sit near me
I'll hold you tight

Warmed by the heat from a fire
Who could ask for more
Just being with you
The woman I adore
