Of all your yesterdays.
From childhood times and tears comforted
by Mom and Dad, to Easter dresses and blue sky
summer days,
live the day of first Cars and Kisses
and Loves that tore the heart away,
Remember the day of Prom and dances and late night slip a way’s
Live the I do’s of your wedding day,
And the dreams of life that lay ahead
The pains of life, the tears of joy of your first born,
And every moment of fun and sacrifice from that point on,
Live the days that turned the years, that has become the true measure of your life
Weight in the souls you’ve touched with your kind heart, and
Helped along the way.
Weighted by your values, and leadership with the will to fight till the end by
Never giving up or in.
Live this day and all the tomorrows to come for they are yours
To make of whatever you desire,
Reflect, remember, but live this day and plan the many tomorrows.
You are a child of spring born not so long ago
In the span of time,
your laughter and love ignites the world around
and brings life to all that know you and love you.
