Everybody Needs Somebody Poem by Lady Lyrical Kay

Everybody Needs Somebody

I was meant for somebody.
He was meant for somebody.
If I feel deep in my heart that I haven't found him, why is my rear-view mirror cloudy?
I shrug my shoulders,
burdened with blasphemous boulders. They could've told me the storm would get a lil' bit colder.
This being life,
they won't give you necessary warning signs.
They'd rather gear you for the steep mountains required to climb.
If this climb is obviously everlasting,
why not multiply the time, to let me choose a choice that's wise?
As the deep currents flow,
As the heavy winds blow,
If I can't handle the devil's heat,
why am I forced to stand near the stove?
Love isn't meant to hurt them,
Love isn't meant to hurt us,
If I really want to be with him,
why is it so hard for me to trust?
Everyone wasn't meant to be alone.
Everybody was meant for somebody.
If I feel I should've committed to an establishment,
why is it so hard to give him my heart?

... I always knew it was that important for someone to have somebody,
Because this is life and that wouldn't be any fair if anybody were alone...
