Everyday Poem by Jason Bakker

Everyday

Others like me
Think of people like you
Its ourselves we don't see
What else can we do?

You takeover our land
The city and streets
We lend you a hand
In sweltering heat

Now you've got what you want
For the moment I'm sure
Sustain you it won't
There isn't a cure

So I'm headed out ma'am
Not to worry at all
If you ever need anything
I'm sure I will call
