Everyone Is Replaceable Poem by Francis Duggan

Everyone Is Replaceable

Rating: 5.0

Great men and women to life have come and from gone
But no matter who comes or goes life does go on
That in everyone is replaceable the truth does remain
Like somebody's loss becomes another's gain
The longest lived human life in time not a long span
Supposedly on average a few years more for a woman than it is for a man
So many people who thought they were irreplaceable in cemeteries lay
And life in the Human World without them does go on today
Up the ladder of success you may be one who has climbed far
But you are not indispensable as you think you are
Your demise an opportunity for another to rise
That you are replaceable you do not seem to realize
That everyone is replaceable as a truism remain
A fact of life one does not need to explain.
