Everyone's Friend Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Everyone's Friend

Forty words:

Dear agile long-legged greyhound

how swiftly you bound around,

thrilling us on the sporting ground.

When you're old and cannot race

taking life at a slower pace,

enjoy the freedom and friendly talk

out on an early morning walk.
