Everything New Is Old Again - Poem by RHEY W. HEDGES

EVERYTHING NEW IS OLD AGAIN

There are some who love to live,
not to give,
just to live,
life passes by,
they don’t know why.

And I …

I live to love, love to give,
not just live,
but to give,
life passes by,
I don’t know why.

And “we” …

We say Hi, you say Good Bye,
I persist,
You insist,
“WE” don’t exist!

I am alone … you are alone,
one of ‘WE’ begins to cry,
it is ME,
and ‘YOU’ know why.
