Everytime Poem by Tabitha abner

Everytime

As I watch the tide move in and out.
I shread all my worries, all my doubts.
I listen to the waves crash upon shore.
I hear your heart beat once more.

But everytime I look into your eyes.
A different person comes to mind.
It's the way you look at me.
You change completely.
Your like day and night.
Fight after fight.

The sun rises and it falls.
You change from day to day.
Drink after drink.
You let your anger speak.
With that look in your eyes.

You hit me everytime.
With every punch and every slap.
You hurt me real bad.
Each curse, you swear.
You watch every move I make.
You say, I'll never get away.

The waves move in and out.
I have no worries, no doubts.
I listen to you say my name.
I hear your heartbeat once more.
