Exams Poem by Julius Akim

Exams

Exams are coming,
The harbinger fever confirms it,
That kind of feeling,
When you're mentally demented;
The doctors says 'you are fine',
And the teacher: Work hard or you'll fail.

Exams approaching,
The clocks' ticking but still being naive,
Procrastinating till the very last days,
When even a day is no more left.
Contemplating; What to do after exams.
Study you mortal fool: The heart says.

Exams will end,
Soon after it starts,
And then you tell yourself: What a fool I am!
Yes you're a fool, little coward.
What does the bible tells us: U reap just what u sow.

And then the foolish ones will be left behind,
Like me, who of all the people, choose to sleep idly while others are harvesting

Nice poem on exam fear and encouragement and self soliloquizing on moral thoughts to come to a firm decision!
