Excavation At Keezhadi-Site In Tamil Nadu. Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Excavation At Keezhadi-Site In Tamil Nadu.

Excavation at Keezhadi in Tamil Nadu.
O, simpering Hindutva forces!
You shut down the excavation
at the site of Keezhadi in Tamil Nadu
or else your historians have to
cover their faces in a shroud of shame.

If they probed deep into the ground
and stumble on some evidence
about the most ancient civilization
of the Dravidans, an about turn
there will be, for all your myths and lies.

What will be the fate of voluminous books,
the north 'Guptas and Sharmas' have published
exploiting the funds of UGC and other bodies?
The shoddy history of this Bharat
decked out in lies has to be retold.

You buried the facts of Dravidan life
of the Mohenjadora and Harrappa
as there were no Cable Media then.
You cooked the books of history
and the aspirants of IAS and other exams
mugged them up to get the jobs.
All the concocted tales have to be
wiped off in the annals of Indian history.
