Except His Memories In My Heart Poem by MELVIN BANGGOLLAY

Except His Memories In My Heart

Last night, I can't sleep
I was just sitting alone in silence
As I hear whisphers of memories
of the life I had in my past
when my dad was still in my sight.

Whenever I can't sleep
My dad always remind me to nap
that I could wake up early
that I can't be late from work
that I can't be sleepy tommorrow.

Tonight, I was waiting for his touch
for his gentle whispher to come
but there was none... except
his memories deep in my heart
