Excuse Me? Poem by Zachary Morrow

Excuse Me?

Just a moment of your time,
Is all I'll ask of you.
You see there really is no one,
To bear my thoughts to.

My life, for lack of a better word,
Maybe hell would suffice.
Cause what's going on in my head and heart,
Is an awful painful price.

I've worn a mask, all through my life,
To hide from truths and lies,
Well I'm out of masks and fake smiles,
And no strength for another disguise.

Each day is filled with such despair
That mere words could not convey,
Except to say that misery,
Surely leads the way.

Some pray for, their soul to keep,
I pray for mine to take.
I feel it's near, it's at the door.
It's the only move to make.

Zachary, , , , as beautiful as this poem is.. and seeing that you wrote all your poems in just one or two days...It worries me, that you have not been back since.. I truly hope you are ok. Lori
