At the crossroads we settle
…..In total disarray
Tomorrow ain't promised
….Though come what may

We'd best...be prepared
….Expectations...or not
‘Cause the here and now
….Simply....all we've got

So today...let's give honor
...To what the past has lent
Tomorrow's...only...a dream
….Imagination invents

All we possess is the moment
….No future...exists
Hope's...but a distant desire
...Our only certainty...is this
