Explorations: Lxiii

How long, how long
I keep asking the elements
Plead with the wind
Request the fire
Look longingly at water
Stare into ether
Lovingly look at the earth
How long how long
Will you take to break
Your balance within
To go up in billowing smoke
To merge the remains
In flowing waters...
How long how long
I keep asking the elements
To once again carry me
Back to from where they
Diligently assembled me
The (un) known meadows
Or deserts of snow or sand...

In a wink it occurred to me
I've nothing to live for
The wink occupied
The being, the environs
It's placed in
The world looks at me
In a sensuous dejection
Smiled at me in weak indulgence...

What do you do
In moments as this,
You may ask
I retrieve into a smaller
Corner within the corner
I' confined to...

I write what you call
Poetry!

The (un) known meadows... economical? or complex? but parenthetical expression is a short-cut to the poet's mind... beautiful in timelessness: The wink occupied The being, ... what you write as a poetry, thouigh produced in the confinement of a corner, but it makes its way to the world! ! !
