Explorations: Xlviii Poem by indira babbellapati

Explorations: Xlviii

In my long innings
Of a life lived and unlived
Several are the milestones
Of repeated follies and
Ignorance that continues

If at all some learning
Went into the process
It's the knack of silence;

Wrap my fatigue
Hide my love
And everything else
You too experience in a day
Behind a facade of silence

My folly and ignorance
Continue to be camouflaged
Behind the smiling silence
And silent smile...

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Silent smile hides everything. Nicely expressed.
