My Africa is busy
Exporting gold, diamond and silver
Importing debt and poverty
Junk religion
Preaching
The poorer you are the nearer to heaven
Or junk education
Self-demeaning
Where African history is never told
Or is distorted
Junk food or junk cloth
In return for a gold nugget
I pray
To the Highest of the Gods
To help Africa
Open its eyes
