Exquisitely Exposed Poem by Yan Lee

Exquisitely Exposed

i always ask questions
on why we have all these emotions
love, fear, hate, regret
which makes every human desperate

finding out on the meaning
in this world without knowing
i may not grasp all the hidden stories
that this earth has to offer their own worries

love should really dominate
in this universe that full of hate
every pieces of you they will rate
worst nothing listens when you narrate

i wish i can erase all the sorrows
like there is no tomorrow
i should take you out of my system now
before you will call me a disposable item somehow

i am so wordly attached
without having strength to detached
so many things to catch
and so many people to watch

worrying all my emotional outcry
miserably on how i really try
learning how to appreciate
so that all the bad vibes negate

nothing will ever happen if i mourn
coz i realized you will not return
you are just a part of my nightmare
a non-important existing matter
