Ex-Suez Please Poem by Deepak Manchanda of Delhi

Ex-Suez Please

Ex-Suez Please
The world's biggest
Excuse to pass by
Forever given

Ex-Suez Please

A slight gap between
Tonnage and too much
The space between Good Hope
And a whole lot of History-ia

Ex-Suez Please

The ill winds that blow
Across the canals of reason
Tug the loads on the mind
Dredge the sands of time

Float the hulls of goodwill
Ex-Suez Please
Make that passage
Clip the world together again
