Eyes - Poem by Loretta Worthington
Eyes the avenue to one's soul, a place where pain and sorrow hide,
behind our aspirations and yearnings to be free.
Where dreams flow on limpid pools, that ripple with desire.
Where love resides and joy shines, is where we all long to be.
Lets flow no more through eyes closed tight, with emotion out of sight
For these eyes can no longer see the wonder that is life.
