Eyes Open - Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

I closed
My eyes
And searched
Deep inside.

Years of inaction
Seemed to appear
Thoughts of doing
And not doing.

I feel myself
A rusted nail
Weakened by time
Unable to perform.

This revelation
Will help me
Wake up
To act now.

Shed weaknesses
Rebuild strength
I'll go forward
Eyes open.

Your eyes have never been shut and you were ever on the move....! . Now perhaps you can accelerate your speed a little further! (Report) Reply
