Eyes That Be Moons Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Eyes That Be Moons

Angst
Below
The
Stars
Waters
Of
Mists
Falling
Falling
Down
To
Earth
Below
Weeping
Shatter
The
Angst
Heed
The
Warnings.

Eyes that be moons
You want them, you will
Them.
Then eyes that be stars, night-lamps
Par excellence.
There will be beauty in all
Alternatives.
There will be warnings.
Not that beauty will be
Lost.
But
That woes will arise on Earth.
Shatter the angst; heed the warnings.
Days will be days.
Nights will be nights.
Geraniums will hang down
Their heads in the moments
Of throes of immense
Heavens.
There will be beauty there
In all alternatives
