Facing The Snakes Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Facing The Snakes

Crocodiles! !
All around,
Running away for life! !
In the jungle,
Now facing the lions.

Scorpions!
Also seen around,
Running away from them,
Only to meet the snakes.

Big Black Spiders! ! !
Through the bush,
Through the thick forest!
Facing the snakes.

The African jungles,
Elephants, lions and zebras!
Also with giraffes;
Running here and there,
Able to save your life.

Animals in the jungles of Africa!
The display of nature,
With the fragrance of life;
Through the thick forest,
Through the bushes,
Running for your life.
