Facing The Unknown Poem by Ruta Mohapatra

Facing The Unknown

Fear stalks the world
The fear of death
The borders get closed
Towns get locked down
People get shut in
All for a virus

All for a virus
That can travel
In unknown ways
Crossing borders
Through air, through contacts
Through food, through travels

A teeny-weeny virus
Has shaken mighty nations
Rendered the doctors helpless
The leaders clueless
The public hopeless

A teeny-weeny virus
Rules the world today!
