There is this essence
At the core of life
After peeling, crushing,
Filtering, distilling,
And separating
The impurities…
That comes out
In the end
Pure, fragrant, divine…
Like the essence of a flower,
And that of a musk deer,
Sandalwood, Ambergris…
Haven't you smelt it
At times, circling round you,
Making you aware of its presence
For a fleeting moment,
Making all moments worthwhile!
After removal of impurities, only fragrance is there. The similes are perfect dear poetess Ruta.
I sense the beauty of scents in a forest and it's wonderful Bravo!
Colours are all around us, we should have the eyes to behold. Fragrance is there everywhere, we should have the more to decipher… top score, Ruta
