Facts Of Life Poem by Dorsey Baker

Facts Of Life

Rating: 4.3

Let the rain rain
Let the sun shine
When I was
young I was young
and didn't try
to be old before my time
Life teaches us
lessons we have to learn
The fire is hot
and it has to burn

And we now come to the conclusion
Life is less real
and more of an illusion
We can endure the pain
if we try
Live our life
until the day
that we die!

Baby come in the morning
come real soon
don't wait for the stars
don't wait for the moon
Baby come in the morning
come real soon

Baby come in the morning
don't waste no time
Baby come in the morning
when the sun starts to shine

Baby come in the morning
when no clouds cover the sky
When the weeping willow don't weep
and the lonesome dove
has no tears to cry!
