We don't know where we stand with each other so I think I'll sit awhile
Why don't you sit with me while you try to make me smile
I really doubt you can with chemistry like ours
But we can still sit and pass the hours
We're not sure if we're a couple and we're not sure if we're single
So we don't know if we should hide or get up and mingle
You're afraid of girls and I'm afraid of you
And we're afraid of love and there's nothing we can do
I think this should end, and you are not sure
And I know we'll be happier than we ever were
So I think we shouldn't wait, we should end this today
Because it's better to burn out than to just fade away
