What happened to us?
How did we grow so distant
within such little time

You were the only one who
put a smile onto my face
Said such loving things
And let me know just how much you've cared

Then something happened
Something that would of broken the spell
I just can't deny, I've fallen for you
Though I didn't know you well

Remember the night you've disappeared from out of sight
Finding solace in anothers arms
How could you betray me, were you weakened by their charm?

I've forgiven you
blocked it out my mind
I cared too much
to let go of you now

Everything happens for a reason
and the reason that it happened
was because of you

I cared though you didn't care as much
And I was afraid to lose you
Ever since you've shown me who you were
I've tooken a couple steps back
and watched on as we'd fade into the wind
