Failure - Poem by Stacy Bea

The pain not to fail drives us
round. Down in the dumps
got a F in GCSEs, the pressure
pushes us to the edge.
Over the mountain, down to
the rocky shores
Pressure of failing drives us
And some time to death.
Strength of hope lies down,
gives up. Can’t go on.

It is only the tooth of the rock that grips your hand that keep you at times from rushing out to the sea in your pinks...iip (Report) Reply

Pressure and fear of failure leads to inactivity. Let us guard ourselves against! (Report) Reply
