Failure Poem by The Silence Heard

Failure

Another Day anew.
I will succeed this time.
The warmth of the water rolling off my back gives me confidence.
How smooth the surface feels with the touch of a hand encourages me.
The irony as the colors all match inspires me.
Out to the air, as the day begins.
But then the dark clouds start rolling in.
Where do they come from?

They slowly block the sun's sweet rays, takes the songs of the birds.
First I see the lightning,
and then hear the thunders loud roar.

When it rains, I am drenched.

How quickly the light can fade.
I thought today would be better.

It's just another failure.

The irony as the colors all match inspires me. Where do they come from? (great placement in the poem for an innocent, vulnerable question) How quickly the light can fade. I thought today would be better. It's just another failure. This was very sad but still a joy to read as the storytelling was done so well. Thanks for sharing. This is relatable.
