Home Poem by The Silence Heard

Home

The darkness engulfs me,
how quickly it feels like home.
The only place where my mind roams..
free.

Where every emotion is felt, and heartache is commonplace.
I scream to escape
it, but no one hears me.
I write to make sense of it,
but I still don't understand.
The place where I truly feel me,
no pretenses.

Home is everything this is,
yet nothing like this place.

The place where I truly feel me, no pretenses. Home is everything this is, yet nothing like this place. Excellent ending. You seem to make sense of it on some level.
