Fairy Tales Are For Pretend Poem by Cameron Lee

Fairy Tales Are For Pretend

Should of known, from the start.
It would end with a break in my heart.

The situations, were not our fault.
Now all I have is a test stripe put away in a vault.

The time to pretend has come to an end.
Blinded myself with hope, thinking we could start again.

I'm not very good at letting go.
But I'm living a lie, its time to end the show.

Don't hold my heart, it's just gonna bleed.
Besides you already have, everything you need.
