I know that you are there
In trail and pain and anger.
I know you always take my part,
But it's often hard to see.

I know that all that has gone on
Is really in your plan.
That nothing really harms me
Cause I'm really in your hand.

I know that you are there
Even when I can't see or hear you.
I know your arms are open
Your love flows ever towards me..

I'm hurt and wounded, sore and lonely
Seems I've walked a million miles.
But I know that somehow, someday
Your going to make me smile.
