Sometimes Poem by Tobbie WhiteBird Crowe

Sometimes

Rating: 4.5

Sometimes, just sometimes;
It might be nice to find a knight
Not on a flashing white charger,
But just riding a plain brown horse.

Sometimes, just sometimes;
It'd be nice to be a fair damsel
Not stuck in an ivory tower,
But barefoot in a pond.

Sometimes, just sometimes;
It would be nice to find some magic,
To bring a knight and barefoot damsel
Together with a plain brown horse.

Sometimes, just sometimes;
Your my lovely but rusty knight
And I, your lonely fair damsel
Dreaming for you to carry me off.
