Faith Conquers Fear Poem by Joseph Blitch

Faith Conquers Fear

Rating: 5.0

From youth up I have heard people say;
I'm afraid this or that will happen today;
I'm afraid I'm going to catch this or that;
No ailment loiters when stripes are at bat;
Don't park yourself about just a pouting;
For mustard seed faith moves a mountain;
A little faith can keep evil feared at bay;
When a prayer of faith they would pray;
Fear hides faith where it cannot be seen;
Where Faith places you in pastures green;
No matter how dark fear makes life seem;
Stead fast faith provides the guiding beam;
Fear run amuck makes enormous glitches;
Faith in GOD's Word brings untold riches;
As you sincerely pray sowing faith's seed;
Chains are loosened and you become freed;
Little fear gives you no hopefulness in sight;
Even smaller faith exercised makes all right;
Overlook all; in Jah totally trust and believe;
Love He sent so timeless life we may receive.

Fear is a bunch of sinister shadows, a shadow has no substance, it's usually a magnified reflection of something small. That's why on standing up boldly before fear, we often find it inconsequential. On the other hand, faith is acting on what one believes in. Where there is faith, fear becomes an illusion. I like the articulation of the poem as it captured the conviction of the poet. A lovely piece of poetry nicely penned with good rhyme scheme. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
