Faithful Poem by Justin Hendricks

Faithful

If she doesn't take the time to care,
There's no way to be a perfect pair.
When she wishes her life weren't true.
and forgets all dreams of you.

If you leave her standing in the rain.
If you leave her all alone.
Maybe then she can feel the pain.
and make her insecurities so well known.

If I make her scream,
or even believe.
If I make it seem,
There are dreams to retrieve.

I'll love you if you love me.
I'll hurt you if you hurt me.
If we could forget all our past.
and make this future built to last.
