Time moves so slowly
When you are my friend
No sunshine or moonlight
Together we sit
In silence we stare
at the walls
Never utter a sound
For hours listen
To heavy breath
To your voice

Swaddle me gently
Numbing my pain
Sparing the tears
Closing my eyes
To the world outside
I feel safe in your embrace
In your darkness
Afraid of the light
That could change my very being
With out you I am nothing
With you I am less

You never forget me
Nor leave me completely alone
Always come back to me
Reunite with me
Depression my friend
