'Sometimes I'm real,
Sometimes I'm fake'.
For some reason,
This truth has shocked you.
You question everything I say from now on.
Am I sincere or not?
Who am I really?
Am I the nice person you thought I was,
Or not?
Your mind has flown to an extreme conclusion,
Of me.
Let me ask you this:
Haven't you ever acted nice to someone you actually don't like much,
Just to be polite?
Haven't you ever plastered a smile on your face,
In front of others,
While waves of sadness were crashing inside,
Because you didn't want to talk about it?
Haven't you ever been playfully mean,
To someone you actually like a lot?
Haven't you ever pretended not to care,
When someone said or did something that hurt you?
Haven't you ever put on a brave face,
When inside you were trembling?
Tell me you've never done any of these things,
Never pretended.
Then you're not human.
That is my extreme conclusion,
Of you.
