Is acceptance,
That you can't control everything,
Can't be everything.
What can soothe a heart,
Is the moment you take,
To do something just for you.
See how time slows down, with heartbeats to match.
What can soothe a soul,
Is knowing that you're not alone.
I understand,
And don't judge you.
It is also within us,
To be our own friend.
