Fake Smile Poem by Alexander Zabalza

Fake Smile

I Have walked in this empty body for years
Watching myself die a little each day
Trying to presume a dream that was dead at arrival
Because my life was not going anywhere

I had destiny by my side, telling me to follow
He had a life plan for me
He asks me to show Him my future
But I ask about my past

He told me to worry about my present
Because he will show me the path
The life we were meant to have
The one we don't fake our smile
