Fakir's Musical Rhapsody Poem by Sumita Jetley

Fakir's Musical Rhapsody

Rating: 5.0

In Purani Dilli's embrace, where whispers of the past dance,
Woke Anand, a Sufi, to morning's first trance.
Sitar strings serenading the break of dawn,
In a world where ancient and present beautifully spawn.

In the kitchen's heart, spices sing and chai simmers,
Lata's laughter, like sunshine, warmly glimmers.
Together they feast, tales and smiles interlace,
In every word, life's simple grace.

Then to the courtyard, where shadows play hide and seek,
Anand sits in silence, his soul poised to speak.
Meditation's embrace, under the neem tree's guard,
In stillness, he finds the universe's regard.

With hands in the earth, in the garden's tender care,
They plant seeds of tomorrow, in today's gentle air.
Neighbors pass, each a thread in life's rich loom,
In Anand's wisdom, their hearts find room.

Evening descends, chai cups clink in reflection,
Day's simple joys, night's starlit introspection.
In each task, a universe, in each word, a song,
In Purani Dilli's arms, where all moments belong.

As the sitar's melody into twilight softly fades,
Anand in his room, in gratitude's shades.
In this house, where time gently sways,
He finds peace, in present's simple maze.

'Morning Rhapsody in Purani Dilli, ' where time stands still,
Where every heartbeat, with joy, does fill.
In Anand's journey, from dawn to night's dome,
In each simple moment, he finds his home.
