Fall Memory Poem by Barry Middleton

Fall Memory

colors of the blushing sunset
remind me of a girl I knew
I remember her in fall

she wore the earth tones
of the season
colors of my woodland home

when leaves begin to turn
I see her even now
in orange and bronze and red

she brought the autumn breeze
she was a goddess
she filled the autumn night
