Fallen Angel Poem by Harshan Pathmanadan

Fallen Angel

Rating: 5.0

He knew not lies
They saw in his eyes,
that truth would kill his fears
So they filled his ears
till he collapsed,
and lived in tears

He knew not vice
they turned him cold as ice
and he melted
as the heat rose
no shape, no form
like water he flows

He knew not greed
They planted the seeds
and like vines they grew
around his neck
the higher he flew
he found his death
