Fallen Away Poem by Sasha Claire Beckains

You've fallen away, away from my heart.
I wish you'd come back, but you just can't.
Life doesn't wait, and I know you have to go on.
I watch you go, and leave me.
This pain hurts and it won't go away, until the
day you return to embrace me.
I'll miss your hugs, and your gentle touch, but most
of all, I'll miss you.
But, I'll always remember, the fun times we had
together.
From the cuddling to the laughs, to the sweet smile
you give me. From the warm hugs to the sleepovers.
From the times I call, to hearing your sweet voice, I'll
always remember you. I know you'll miss me and you
love me too. For now, times up, time to part our ways.
It was fun while it lasted and I hope we can get back someday.
