No wonder Paul insists
that we must consider
the members of our
earthly body to be
dead to the things
of this world.
No surprise that he
reminds us that we
were crucified with
Christ, so that this
fallen body of sin
might be destroyed
and that we should
not be enslaved to
the practice of sin
any longer.
(St. Paul was called by Christ
himself on his journey to
kill Christians) .
