The rain is falling all around me
And it's raining in my heart.
Everything is dull and dark
Since you told me you were leaving.
Cause all around me things are changing
But I thought you'd always be there
And now you're going away
And I'm falling just like the rain.

You say you were looking for something
Guess you weren't quite happy before.
Well maybe something was missing-
Was it my fault or yours?
I love you too much to think
That you could ever do wrong
But since you've let me down,
I don't know who to trust.

Oh it hurts too much to think about
So I push you outa my mind,
I'm running far away from this
But I don't know where I'm going.
Just wanna get away from all the questions
Cause they'll never understand.
Crying, aching, mind's a blank,
Can't stop the pain inside.

I want to get away from this place
Cause everything reminds me of you
But I don't know where I'd go to
Cause nothing really matters now.
And I know I'll go on living
But it all just seems so pointless
Ever since you went so far away
And I'm here all alone.

Yeah now it's raining in my heart
Everything is dull and dark
And I'm falling like the rain
But if you come back it will all be right
Come back my love through the pouring rain,
Come back and love me again.
