Fangs Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Fangs

Vapor jungle, the incense of love
Passage into the colored stove
Her call is the fire lamp of leather
Slaves crowned with royal purple

Voices croon along the windy sea
We walk like jewels of ancient poets
She wears the diadem of golden rivers
I am the warrior of sapphires

Guiles ships with Egyptian feathers
I kiss her feet in courtyards of Corinth
Throne room of silk and stilettos
Broken lions kneel before the Empress

Bound with centuries of Gorean whips
I learn to put my eyes down
Her words sigh with red marks
I have fallen in love with a vampire

Fangs drip with blood amidst her perfume
